Catholic United take a short trip down the A12 to face Springfield FC for the 19th time in since September 2009. 'Field' have had a decidedly mixed season with good wins over Harold Wood, Kelvedon Hatch and most recently Shenfield AFC in mid-February. However, they have suffered some heavy defeats along the way to them sitting bang in mid-table (7th), on 29 points.

United's recent cup matches have seen them exit the three competitions they were competing in and with just the league to concentrate on, they will look to grab a third consecutive league victory tomorrow. After a 4-2 away win at Shenfield AFC, they followed this up with a close fought 2-1 win at home to Runwell Sports two weeks ago. Back in early February the side played out a superb 5 goal thriller which saw Springfield leave The Len Forge Centre victorious. United currently sit in 4th with 35 points.

In league competition, Catholic & Springfield have played out 17 times previously, with United winning 10, Springfield 5, and two draws. Catholic have managed to score 49 goals to Springfield's 22.

The biggest scorelines between the sides fall to Catholic United. A 7-3, 7-2 and two 6-0 wins give United bragging rights, with Springfield's biggest victory coming from a 5-3 win back in May 2010.
